Terms of Service
Version 1.0 · Last updated May 7, 2026 · Awaiting legal review
1. Who we are
Messe Atlas (“Atlas”, “we”, “us”) is operated by Messe Asia Co., Ltd. (Reg. 0105569070485, Bangkok, Thailand). These terms govern your use of the platform at messeatlas.com and the operator console.
2. The service
Atlas is a B2B data and intelligence platform for the global event economy. We provide:
- A canonical warehouse of companies, persons, and events relevant to trade shows, MICE, and adjacent verticals
- An operator console for the Messe Asia portfolio team
- The Atlas Briefing newsletter
- A federation API consumed by sister projects
- Eventually, a productized SaaS layer (subject to separate terms when launched)
3. Account terms
- Operator accounts are for the internal Messe Asia team and authorized partners. Sign-in is via magic link to a verified email address.
- Newsletter accounts are open. You can unsubscribe anytime via the link in every newsletter.
- You’re responsible for keeping your inbox secure. We do not store passwords; magic-link tokens are single-use and expire in one hour.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Scrape Atlas to rebuild a competing dataset (we license the federation API for legitimate consumer use, not for cloning)
- Use revealed contact data for unsolicited spam or harassment
- Misrepresent your identity or affiliation
- Attempt to bypass authentication, rate-limits, or row-level security
- Process EU/UK data subjects’ data in violation of GDPR or Thai data subjects in violation of PDPA
- Use the service to violate any law that applies to you
5. Data ownership and licensing
Public + aggregated data (company names, public websites, exhibitor lists at past events) is sourced under legitimate-interest basis and remains in the public domain. Atlas owns the curation and structure but not the underlying facts.
Personal contact data (emails, phones, LinkedIn URLs of named individuals) is processed under the bases described in the Privacy Policy. Operator-revealed records carry usage restrictions: outreach must comply with applicable consent rules in the recipient’s jurisdiction.
Operator engagement records (your logged emails, calls, meetings) belong to the operating project and are visible cross-portfolio per the federation API.
6. Subscription + billing (when productized)
The current operator console and newsletter are free during Phase 1 build-out. When the productized SaaS layer launches, separate paid-tier terms will govern. Active free users will receive 30 days’ notice of any pricing change.
7. Intellectual property
The Messe Atlas name, logo (sliced triangle wordmark), brand assets, and the Atlas Briefing editorial product are trademarks and copyrighted material of Messe Asia Co., Ltd.
8. Disclaimers + liability
Atlas is provided as-is. We use industry-standard practices for data quality and security but make no warranty that the dataset is complete, current, or accurate at any moment. Use the data with judgment.
To the extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability for any claim arising from your use of Atlas is limited to the amount you paid us in the prior 12 months (or US$100 if you’re on a free tier). We’re not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.
9. Termination
You can stop using Atlas anytime; sign out and (if you’re subscribed) unsubscribe from the newsletter. We can suspend accounts that violate the acceptable-use rules. We’ll respond to data subject erasure requests per the Privacy Policy.
10. Changes
We may update these terms. Material changes get notified by email to operators and subscribers. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Thailand. Disputes are resolved in the courts of Bangkok, Thailand. If you use Atlas from the EU/UK, this clause does not displace consumer-protection rights you have under your local law.
