Apcom
APCOM Foundation, based in Bangkok, Thailand, is a regional coalition established in 2007 that advocates for the health, rights, and well-being of men who have sex with men (MSM) and transgender individuals across Asia and the Pacific. Known as the Asia Pacific Coalition on Male Sexual Health, APCOM brings together a diverse network of governments, UN partners, non-profits, and community organizations to address HIV issues affecting these communities. The foundation focuses on advocacy, monitoring, and capacity building to enhance male sexual health services and promote rights related to sexual orientation and gender identity. APCOM operates an online resource center called “The Source,” which provides searchable data on HIV and related issues. It also offers emergency support to LGBTQI+ activists and human rights defenders, ensuring their safety and well-being. Through various regional projects, APCOM supports initiatives aimed at sustainability of HIV services and socio-economic empowerment for LGBTQI individuals.
