Aksa Akrilik

Aksa Akrilik was established in Yalova in 1968 and is the world's largest acrylic fiber producer. MITHRA, Turkey's First Domestic and High Performance UHMWPE Fiber, is a strategic step in the defense industry. Developed with its own in-house R&D and engineering infrastructure, MITHRA is a fully integrated structure in which the entire production process from fiber to UD (Unidirectional) fabric will be carried out in-house and is specially designed for applications such as body armor, land-naval-air vehicle platforms and ballistic composite systems.
