Creative Economy Agency (Public Organisation)

The Creative Economy Agency (CEA) is a Thai government agency established on August 14, 2018, under the Office of the Prime Minister. Located in Bangkok, CEA is dedicated to supporting and developing Thailand's creative economy. Its vision is to position Thailand as a global leader in this sector, promoting balanced and sustainable economic development. CEA focuses on nurturing creative individuals, empowering creative businesses, and developing initiatives for creative cities. The agency supports 15 creative industries and operates regional offices in Chiang Mai, Songkhla, and Khon Kaen. It organizes major design events such as Bangkok Design Week and Chiang Mai Design Week, and oversees the Thailand Creative & Design Center (TCDC) in Bangkok. CEA also plays a significant role in enhancing Thailand's soft power by fostering creativity and collaboration across various sectors.
