Uniting more than 260 member companies the BDLI serves as the single voice of the German Aerospace Industry, distinguished by its international technological leadership and global success. The German aerospace industry is not only a driving force of economic growth and technological innovation for the German economy, but also a major employer of highly skilled talent. Covering almost all strategic key technologies, the German aerospace industry is represented in the BDLI with 120,000 direct employees and an annual turnover in excess of €52 billion (2024). The companies represented in the BDLI cover the entire value chain and are world leaders in all areas of the aerospace industry. The BDLI is the trademark owner of the ILA aerospace trade fair, which highlights innovation, new technology and sustainability in the aerospace industry.The next ILA Berlin will take place June 10-14, 2026.
